For me the hardest part has been done

Mon Oct 26, 2015 7:11 am

Beating a strong Boro team at home last week and many of us praised Russell Slade and the team for getting the 3pts :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Now to show the fans we can be consistant and at least make the play-offs this season, nothing less than 3pts tonight against a very weak Bristol City team for me :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Annis got to beat them tonight, we have to beat the teams near the bottom, teams that do that show that they do have what it takes to get in the top 6, nearly teams don't

Spot on, nothing less than 3pts tonight :ayatollah:

We can not afford to drop any more points against relegation teams and especially at home :thumbright:

For me this is a big test for this team.

I just worry that we don't have enough upfront to breakdown the struggling teams that will come here to defend. We know we are now difficult to beat but we're unproven when we're at home expected to win a game.

I would suggest that Noone needs to play tonight to try and get around the back of them and maybe Slade has to take a gamble on Ameobi even though he hasn't lasted the pace when starting games previously. If we play Ravelle and Mason I can't see us having the pace to get in behind them.

I'm looking forward to it as it is a different test and a real chance to back up some of the improved, steady performances so far.

Disagree, before the two fixtures I said 4 points would be a decent return as no easy games as we already know. I would be disappointed if we couldn't get a win, but this will be as tough if not harder than against boro. Any points would not be a disaster, if we are serious about promotion your right it has to be a win. Looking forward

Agreed. We are very weak up front. Even when Jones and Macheda are fit I still feel we don't have enough quality to mount a challenge.

This is a tough game and will be harder than a lot will anticipate. Although i do expect a win but think it'll only be 1-0 as Bristol shitty will keep it tight and defend. I just hope the bell ends around me don't start with their shit booing when whitts knocks the ball back to keep possession rather than hit 40yards forward to player marked. Or start shouting Slade out after 20mins and 0-0. We need everyone to support the whole squad /management tonight

The good news is, Bristol City have 2nd worst defence in the Championship :thumbright:

Hmm We got 2pts from 6pts away from home, Slade himself said you then have to win your home games :thumbright:
Especially against one of the worst teams in the Championship :ayatollah:

I will gladly take a 1-0 home win :thumbright: :ayatollah:
