Macheda

Got quality, given the chances will score goals quality finisher imo and lots of potential. Needs to up his workrate and keep fit.

Where do you see macheda fitting in this team?
Could he partner saadi up top if saadi stays fit?
Could he be our number 9 striker and partner mason?

Not sure how we can comment on Saadi without seeing him, Cornelius springs to mind

He's lazy but the only real striker in our team with a genuine eye for goal.
He went on a run last season with a decent goal per game, then picked up an injury.
I'd have him in the team.

I think he isn't the bravest of lads and his size counts against him as he is not hard enough to be the target man everyone assumes him to be. He wants it to feet and that's what we are doing this season.

We still need a burner in the team so i would sacrifice Mason or Pilkington and play a 433 with Ameobi Macheda and Noone (if we didn't get anyone else in) and Ralls, Whitts and Digachoi in a 3

But until Christmas i would keep our current super cautious set up.

he's had his back injury since he's been with us ,hopefully with it being opperated on he can show us more

Wins nothing in the air... shits out of every 50/50 challenge...unable to hold the ball up..doesn't run the channels ..doesn't track back ...pushed off the ball with ease etc etc etc

Hopefully when fully fit we will finally see the best of him and who knows slade could get his head on it and bring out the best of him too.

If macheda had the chances mason has had this year he would easily be on more goals than mason, maybe the chances were creating and football we are playing will suit macheda better

If the midfield can give him the right service i think we got a 15 goal striker the guy definitely knows where the back of the net is just needs to up his workrate and fitness

Macheda ,like Jones, is very lazy. He is also our best finisher. We have no good all-round strikers at all. I'm just hoping Saadi doesn't end up as another Velikonja!

You're judging that on stats, not actually going by the effect he has in match play.

He often frees up space for other players, purely because of his presence.

Yeh fair point. We are missing kenwynne at the moment but i think we could be better with saadi or macheda in his place
