Malky Mackay is in line for the Charlton job.

Malky was at The Valley yesterday.

Be interesting if he got the job.

Even though we are still wiping off the mud he dragged us through?
Even though he deceived thousands of people that trusted and supported him in his hours of need ?

I recognize what he done for us by getting us up then he cocked it up by spunking the biggest ever transfer kitty ever for a newly promoted club ,he took Wigan down and if he isn't back financially at Charlton he will take them down

Basically we asked for him not to be sacked. None of knew what was about to hit us, Textgate.

A bit of a surprise for me.

Are Charlton that much different a club to Fulham who were all choking on their lattes when he was associated with them.

I don't believe he is racist, just a lad from Glasgow stuck with 1970's northern comedy "humour".

He will be forever saying he is sorry and going into a desperate club may not be the best for him or them. I believed he needed to almost work for free at a club like Newport in the summer, rebuilding his reputation slowly.

Vinny may put his hand in his pocket at christmas for our promotion push, so we don't have to welcome him back here next season

I liked Malky as manager but, after after having the pleasure of photographing Stoke-v-Watford yesterday, I would love to have Quiqo Flores down here as manager. The Watford fans adore him. They were singing to him for 100 Mins (they tried to do a pitch side interview after game but it was not possible cos the crowd were singing his name) and he loved every minute of it and made sure they were appreciated to.

He was excited. The Fans were excited and you could tell it had a positive effect on the players.

Watford should never have gone to Stoke and won never mind shutting them out. That is the effect a trully positive manager has on them.

At the moment he is well out of our league. But when we go back up - he is the guy I want.

I wish no luck to him. 23 teams in this division are our rivals and I wish no luck to any other team.

Good luck to him.

He let me as a fan down massively just as much as Tan did in that premier league year.

I dont hold anything against Tan, so I have no right to hold anything against Malky.

The mess of those two seasons (premier and last year) is nearly cleaned up, and I'm enjoying this season more than many seasons in recent years.

I am greatful for him helping us get promoted with Tans money, neither could've done it without the other.

A petty squabble between them destroyed the last two seasons for all of us, both are to blame for that.

Good luck Malky in whatever you do.

He won't like the fact it's a "black" cloud one bit think he prefer a white cloud. More his colour. :-)

Unless he's backed with money can't see him doing much there tbh.
