Anthony Gerrard has agreed to join Shrewsbury Town on a free transfer.
The defender, who left Huddersfield in the summer, will join up with the squad when he's fit.
"We have an agreement so, when he's fit, he'll be available to us," manager Micky Mellon told the Shropshire Star.
"Anthony still has a bit of training to do before he's there. But when he's ready, he'll be an important player for us."

When he is fit......one player that easily loses fitness, quick to put the pounds on.

Remember him and Marshy at each other away to Forest? He must've had serious attitude problems. Every single manager he's played under have shipped him out. Good player, but sadly he blew it for us. Should never have taken that pen.

He was always up for the fight, was never quite 100% fit for us, bit of a joker tbh

Too big for his boots, his terrible attitude ruined his career.
