Solskjaer having another good start at molde

Thu Oct 22, 2015 7:37 pm

2-0 up already against celtic

Seems to work well with him at molde.

Do you reckon he could of done a job in the championship?

He had a job in the championship... or have you forgotten that shambles

Was never given enough time for us in the champ, with the player turnover it was always going to be a dificult start.

If given time?

I personally don't think we were going far with him not then anyway

Personally I think he will turn out to be a top manager in the future. Cardiff wasn't a good move for him the way our club was at the time. We needed stability, and he just didn't have the experience for that

Good on him & best of luck to him :ayatollah:

FT: Molde 3-1 Celtic. Ronny Deila's side are bottom of Group A now.

Given more time we'd be in league 1.

Some managers just fit in exactly with certain clubs - it's a match that suits both parties.

Look at Eddie Howe at Bournemouth - successful with them in the lower leagues and then leaves for a bigger job (at that time) at Burnley where he just did not settle at all - the dynamic was all wrong for some reason.

Returns to Bournemouth and look where they are now.

Solskjaer may be the same with Molde. Also remember his first result with us was an away win in the FA Cup at Newcastle and we all know what happened after that.

Maybe he'll learn from his experience with us and become a very good manager in the future but I can't see too many Premier League teams willing to gamble on him for some time yet.

Ole won his first Cardiff game, 2-1 at Newcastle in the FA Cup 3rd round.

He said so himself before and after the match anyhow. The only thing he did was make some pointers half-time on keeping possession. He might have played it down for all i know, but thats what he said.

And so far this season Norwegian teams have won 17 games in European cups. You do realize your logic is flaw somewhere, right? :laughing6:
