MONEY FOR MONK
There has been a plunge in the betting markets on Garry Monk to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked after reports in the Daily Mirror suggested that he missed training this morning.
Swansea have commented on the speculation by issuing a picture on Twitter with a cheeky caption: “PHOTO: @GarryMonk16 lookalike taking training this morning! #factnotfiction”

Apparently the Daily Mirror source was a Mr Rogers of Merseyside.

Would be absurd, one bad spell and not an horrendous one at that. They are only a few wins off 5th but a few more defeats would see the pressure on monk. Would love it if they imploded but can't see it

i do wonder if Rodgers being available might sway things a little, especially with a defeat on saturday

It's way too early for a rash decision like that. I think Rodgers should go somewhere else than back to Swansea. He could get a job abroad or even wait to see if he gets an interim position at his old club Chelsea if Mourinho manages to get sacked there. Could see them hiring Rodgers and seeing how he goes whilst keeping an eye on Pep's availability.

Posts like this is why we keep embarrassing ourselves, I bet they'll still finish somewhere in the middle. Every team goes through a bad run of games and I hardly call draws with Spurs and Everton bad results.
