personally the quality of football is awful imo we don't play decent football but we are getting some results i think we will be lucky to get the play offs at the moment

if we can stay there or there abouts until january and then hopefully bring in a few players it could see us sneak a play off place.

Solid start, certainly much better than I expected from him.

I think we will be around midtable come the end of the season, pretty much like last season.

My prediction stands, well finish 7/8th I think. Keep slade till the end of the season, thank him for saving our skins and tightening up our squad and find someone who can take us forward.

We won the League with uglier football, drawing the last few games, it was dull as hell! But last night there was a clear change of pace and mentality in the second half, still missing actual pace but this is championship football...

To be fair to Slade, Far better than I imagined, I thought we would struggle under him and we have done quite the opposite

Slade has done much better than many of us, including me, would have thought.

We are however lacking than cutting edge in the final third. We need to bring in or bring back a goal scorer if we really want to challenge for promotion.

It frustrates me when fans boo the passes back some fans think it's fifa when you just constantly pass forward and score, I'd much rather us retain possession than just hoof it if nothing is on and hope for the best

I will agree the football isn't the best to watch, neither was it under Malky but we still used to win! We are 2 points behind 3rd place after 12 games played, I'd say thats good going all things considered.

My thoughts exactly. It's probably people like you talking shit when out and about that the football is shit and Slade clueless etc that we can't attract new people to come

I think the patient passing game is fine, but when we break we lack pace. This is the main weakness.
We are playing the ball from the back much more and having Connolly there really helps. Opposite of Turner, who only does one hoofed pass.

I don't agree that the football now is worse than under Malky, maybe last season was but this season there is a lot more effort going into passing the ball and keeping possession.

We used to lump it to Kenny Miller as a lone striker under Malky

didn't know we bought anyone for more than a couple of quid? but guess pulis had better connections so could get better quality.

Well I dont think paying a fee for Doyle and then never playing him except when we onnly had two strikers then loaning him out was the best deicsion when we are making cuts, O'Keefe signing pointless.

Personally I think Pulis would have got more people out and brought more in.

Who knows tho.
