I think if we're top ten we should give him one more season. I don't think he'll ever get us promoted but if he leaves us in a better place than we were and gives the next manager something good to build on, we can regard his time here as a success

I think if you asked Vincent Tan he would say that Slade has done everything Tan hs asked of him and that in Tan's opinion he has been a success.

Every time Tan has asked him to bend over, Slade has asked "How Far?"

He's done a good job in tough circumstances to date

He hasn't really been backed by tan gone about his business quietly and effectively

Tan has barely came out to the British press and backed him, heck there was even uncertainty with that Portugese bloke linked to the job. Slade has had to fight off many pundits, fans and journalists because of his inexperience at this level. He's also had to fight a dressing room battle and personal player cases. Tan probably watches from afar and Slade has been left to do his own thing. Just because Tan personally appointed him, doesn't make him a puppet tbh

If he wants more of the same of virtually no spending and consolidation then Slade will probably be kept on.
If he decided to speculate and make a more serious push for promotion then definitely not. I wouldn't like to see Slade given a lot of money to spend.

Probably the only thing you've wrote on here I've ever agreed with

I can't see a big spend personally as its final year of parachute payments which are small in comparison to this year and last year

But given the right additions to the squad £5m may well be enough to get us over the line

It's not a given that a twist would get us promotion anyway a new manager may disrupt the stability slade has brought to the side and might well be a far worse option than sticking with him and actually giving him a couple of quid to bring in some more quality

I'd personally like to see tan give the guy £5m to buy in the right positions and I feel we could push on next year

Goes without saying we need a decent winger and another striker who can hit the net two positions I feel we lack depth in, I think talks should move central and another winger Come in

The striker situation depends on how good this Saadi is as well he could well be a 20 goal man time will tell on that

Russell needs to be given a chance, it doesnt help when half of the fan base dont want him as manager. What has he actually done wrong?

Why does it make any difference if I want him as manager or not? it makes zero difference, doesn't effect me supporting the team.
