Am asking this question as I know so many " city fans" who have attended recent Welsh matches but were not present tonight or moist of our other matches, are they now getting there Football fix with Wales?

It may well have some bearing on it.
But it could also be that most fans are by nature fickle and will only want to follow teams who are "successful". At the moment Wales are doing far better than Cardiff and therefore the "floating" fan will always sway towards the national team.
If, come the end of the season, City are near the top of the table, most of those so called "fans" will be back and claiming their devotion to the club as they will be if we get drawn against a "big" side in the FA Cup.
