Wimbledon have confirmed the capture of young Cardiff City keeper Ben Wilson, on an emergency one month loan deal.
The youngster is not exactly a household name among Cardiff fans or other Championship followers, but Wilson is highly regarded by the youth staff at Cardiff City and is tipped to succeed David Marshall in the number one jersey in the future.
Wilson made his first team debut earlier this season, stepping in for Marshall against AFC Wimbledon in the Capital One Cup, impressing both the Bluebirds and Wimbledon fans with a solid display, earning his side three points and a clean sheet in his maiden senior appearance.
Neil Ardley has since expressed his desire to sign the keeper, and has now secured his services on loan for a month, and could make his debut in tonight's game against high-flying Accrington Stanley, a game in which fans will be desperate to win.
