Louis van Gaal could hand exciting youngsters Sean Goss and Regan Poole their first-team debuts against CSKA Moscow after the pair were promoted to Manchester United’s first-team training today.

Goss, 18, was a surprise inclusion on the Red Devils’ tour of the United States this summer and signed a four-year deal with the club in August.

Poole, 17, was a deadline day signing from Newport County in September and the defender has six caps for Wales’ U17s.

With injuries to Ashley Young and Paddy McNair, the duo were promoted to first-team training in preperation for United’s trip to Moscow and could form part of the 20-man squad flying to Russia.
