' CITY PLAYERS ARE IMPRESSING '

Newport County have recently taken two Cardiff City youngsters on loan, Tommy O’Sullivan and Jazzi Barnum-Bobb, the management and coaching staff of Newport are really pleased with what they have seen from both players so far.

The reports are that O'Sullivan is an extremely gifted footballer who brings a lot of quality to their squad and Newport are delighted to have got the loan signing of the centre midfielder.

Barnum-Bobb is also impressing the coaches with his athletism and strength as well as his play.

It's great to hear the two of them have settled in well at Newport and hopefully getting playing time will benefit Cardiff City in the future.

If Tommy was in slades plans he would of made the bench by now.

Slade has no interest in any of the u21 players that are currently at the club.

I don't think that these players figure in the managers plans right now either.

The last game vs Bristol city slade wasn't there. Scotty young walked in after 25 minutes

Plus if he had any interest why do none of the u21s train with 1st team

Have the u21 ever trained with the 1st ? Also I'm sure people were moaning that malky and Dave Jones didn't go to the u21 matches either

Yes the U21's have trained with the 1st team and that stopped around Christmas time last season.

Malky did watch the U21's, not sure if he watched every match but the ones I went too he was there.

the lad may be class but is he better than

a guy with 50+ caps for south Africa
The captain of Iceland
A former championship player and goal of the year player
or Joe Ralls (next seasons captain)

He went out on loan last season and couldn't break into a poor Port Vales team......

One misplaced pass and the moan and groaners would kill his confidence.

Bets place for him, hopefully his skill will shine through and he develops into a top centre midfielder for us.

Slade and young talent don't mix.

Absolutely spot on.
Natural progression is to work your way up with a lower league side.

Look how much Ralls has come on after his season with Yeovil.

O'Sullivan is probably 5th or 6 th in line for the first team here, it won't help him playing for the u 21s, County is a perfect place to find out if he's got the guts to go with his talent.
