Mobile Phones/Driving

Thu Jun 24, 2010 6:12 pm

I seem to see this so often these days, saw at least five culprits today.

Do these idiots not realise how dangerous it is?

Perhaps bring in a short term ban from driving.

it is dangerous and should carry a months ban in my opinion.
another thing that pisses me off is when you see kids with no seat belts on ,while mum and dad are safely strapped in!
or mothers with babies on their laps!!! how do these people not realise they gambling with their kids lives!

You would not like what I witnessed when living in Saudi Arabia. This was an everyday occurrence but I would see such things as one year old babies on the fathers laps while driving. The amount of times I saw kids on the mothers laps in the front seat was frightening.

I also witnessed this:

Feckers who do 30mph in a 40 zone.

You know the ones, the ones who pull out on you causing you to break.
Then have the cheek to do at least 5-10mph UNDER the speed limit.

Twats.

the difference is, when having a conversation your concentration lapses for longer periods and your reaction time is lowered

What about when we sing along to songs on the radio, or are playing along with the quizzes on there? should radio be banned too? There are always going to be distractions whilst driving... can you honestly say you have never had a scare after clocking some girl in another car... only to look back and see the car in front has stopped?
