I think the only people who actually said that at the meeting convened by the club to indicate that the rebrand reversal might be imminent we're Sian and Gwyn although I am sure a number of others believed it was likely.

In truth though the reversal merely stopped the club as a critically ill patient from actually dying. It remains in intensive care and it is likely to be a fairly long and tough road back to full recovery.

There is also mention in this thread of an apology from the owner for the massive error of the rebrand but has anyone actually seen any such apology because I don't recall one having been made or even any statement admitting that it was a business decision that he got wrong.

well said, that summary would be regarded by most fans as the most accurate account of the problems

Can't remember anyone saying it but your analogy of critically ill patient still in intensive care is very well put.

There has been no apology and I doubt there will be.

What's happened, has happened. We're back in blue. Time to move on.

The rebrand was reversed what more do you want? Tan by his actions has admitted it was a total disaster so just what is to be gained from continuing to hold grudges?

As far as I'm concerned the whole matter is concluded to my satisfaction and its time to look forward. If we all adopt a positive attitude it can only have a good affect on the club. Constantly looking back and being bitter at a poor decision (which has been reversed) benefits no-one apart from our rivals in this division.

Tony

I was just pointing out one of the reasons why some fans feel aggrieved.

As for the reversal of the rebrand the only promise made by Tan (everyone is entitled to their own view as to whether he honours his promises) was that we would play in blue at home this season. There was no promise made for next season although I don't believe even Mr Tan would be daft enough to try and go back to red next season

Not scaremongering at all. Just pointed out the fact that the promise of using blue at home in the statement made at the time only committed to playing in blue for this season , not beyond that. My post also clearly states my opinion that Mr Tan will not seek to re-reverse the kit colours next season as it would be an even more disastrous business decision than the initial rebranding one.
