I agree Annis.

Never given a chance by our club, and treated very badly.

The only quote Slade made about Guerra was "He had a good year in Spain but I want to see more from him". Only way he could see more was in the training ground. Some players don't take to the training ground specially the foreign imports, Ginola being a prime example. However you need to do that here and this is why I feel Guerra failed.

Well sometimes you have to think how certain cultures prepare.

Here in the UK we go about doing it on the training ground with a lot of attention on fitness. The drawback to this is that we end up with players burning out. Abroad the training session are about improving the quality of the players at the expense of fitness. Quality will always out beat fitness unless you are up against 11 supermen. However quality will only work if you have it across the team and can apply the tactics. This is why I think Ole failed.

Oles sqaud was not fit as we know but it had the qaulity. Unfortunately for him he could not get the tactics right hence his nickname Tinkerman. I saw no improvement in Oles game compared to Malky. There definitely was improvement when Slade came in because he reverted back to fitness. Unfortunately for Guerra Slade is a manager that cannot work around the likes of the Spaniard.

From what I saw of Guerra he look quality in a decent team. In a team that does not play well he looks awful. Hence why Young and Gabbidon said you can't afford to carry someone. That's referring to the awful Bournemouth league cup game. Stick Guerra in a team of 10 workmen playing reasonable well and he will shine. In a team of misfits and he will look the worse. That's the sort of player he is.
