Former Cardiff City tannoy man Ali Yassine says he feels ‘let down’ after being overlooked for the microphone for Wales’ clash with Andorra tonight.
An irate Yassine claimed he believed he was to be the man behind the Cardiff City Stadium mic for the big game which will see Chris Coleman’s men celebrate their qualification for next summer’s Euro 2016 tournament.
But Mark Evans, the head of the FAW’s international department, insists no such promises were made.
The FAW point out that Yassine missed the last Wales game in the Welsh capital, a 0-0 draw with Israel, and a decision was taken to go with the same team that manned the tannoy that day.
