UEFA have today (14 October) announced the EURO 2016 Draw Seedings and Wales have been positioned in Pot 4 alongside Iceland, Albania and Northern Ireland.

The draw for UEFA EURO 2016 takes place on 12 December and the national team coefficients are calculated on a country's recent results.

In the current rankings, 20% weighting is given to UEFA EURO 2012 results (qualifying/final tournament), and 40% each to the 2014 FIFA World Cup (qualifying/final tournament) and UEFA EURO 2016 (qualifying).

Pot 3 could well include Poland. A group with Germany , Italy and Poland in it would be difficult to progress from.

On the other hand , a group with Portugal , Switzerland and Republic of Ireland might raise hopes of getting through

Doesn't matter. We are there. Play whoever is in front of us. If we as pot 4 are the underdogs - the others might just get a shock. Bring it on.

None of it really matters, the only thing the seeding does is keep the top teams apart in the group stages. They will also have to play difficult teams from the other pots so there is no real advantage imo.
