Mon Oct 12, 2015 6:28 pm

Great that we have qualified but browsing through the forum not alot here to do with ccfc so thought id start a topic on here because i dont know about anyone else im bored of all the wales chat now and cant wait for cardiffs upcoming games.

Will we have an unchanged team against preston?
Will saadi be on the bench?

Surely we will beat preston need to be burying teams like this, i hope ameobi starts aswell

Saadi has been back in France I think seeing family? We were meant to have a friendly, not sure if we've played that or if it will be played, my opinion is Saadi won't play vs Preston

You won't get much about the City at the moment mate because there's still a Wales game to go but after tomorrow night the board should be back to normal with most topics being City related.

Looking forward to the trip to Preston on Saturday though it's a long way up the nightmare that is the M6!

Doubt we'll see Saadi for a little while yet as I would have thought he'll play a few Development games before being considered for first team action especially after being out for a while with such a serious injury.

I'm not sure about starting with Ameobi particularly away from home. Slade tried it at Rotherham and it didn't really work (Marshall's sending off didn't help) and I honestly think that Slade will start with the same team with Peltier coming in for Fabio.

I agree we should be looking to beat teams like Preston if we are serious about challenging for promotion but every season we seem to have a poor record against teams in the bottom three and I think we may struggle to get all three points on Saturday.

I think we should be good for a point though.

I dont think ameobi is a striker tho, best utilised on the wing imo. Id play him instead of pilkington.

We should beat preston but see us losing to boro home but then beating bristol so 6 points from 9 would be a good return i guess

I wouldn't take Pilkington out of the team. He does a lot of unnoticed work with tracking back, I wish we had an attack minded full back to go passed him when he tucks infield though.

Amoebi didn't do enough for me away Rotherham.

I would bring Manga in for Morrison though

I hope Saadi is involved because he could the one to give us that edge. :thumbright:
