' A lot of people don't know how hard the Welsh job is '

Sun Oct 11, 2015 7:49 am

if you look at the bigger picture the Welsh job is a very hard job to take on very much like Northern Ireland .even though Welsh football is in a decent position these days we still have to make sure we can get good youngsters into clubs like Man Utd liverpool Real Madrid etc even though cardiff and Swansea newport Wrexham are good springboards for our players its proved once agin by having good players in the best clubs in England and Europe that we have succeed in finally getting to a major tourmeant also a lot of players have been playing champions league which again helps our cause.

As for the game in wales we have the league of wales not a great league but it serves it's purpose plus we need more Good facilities for our grass root clubs .lots of wales mangers have tried hard in this job and have come against the same problems as chris Coleman .

We have had great Welsh teams in the past but fell short at times the one thing we have never had is one great squad with plenty of depth in it we have hard great goalkeepers strikers wingers midfield players defenders but not all there at the same hopefully that can happen one day .many times we have been critical of the Welsh set up but I stopped being that a very long time ago a lot of people are working hard day in day out for wales to succeed I know the problems we are always up against whether you like the people or not who run football or run you're local club just remmber they gave up there time to do it .congratulations to chris Coleman I hope this is one of many

Said it so many times the best thing the Low is do is move to a summer league and attract fans of the Welsh league clubs and plastics who are missing their footy fix over the summer. They'll never improve wit out crowds bringong in money and they'll never get crowds going toe to toe with the English based Welsh clubs. Switching to summer just makes so much sense.
