" Martyn Waghorn "

Cardiff scouts were present at Rangers vs Falkirk last week to watch Waghorn

Why on earth does anyone need to "scout" an experienced player like Waghorn?

Has always done well in games against us previously and has always been a solid performer, particularly at Championship level.

There's your scouting report - you can come back now and stop wasting time and money.

Maybe a Scout troop from Cardiff was camping nearby and went to watch Martyn Waghorn because he used to be in the cubs?

Cheers mate :thumbright:

Ignore Rydog. He's only interested if it comes from a so called ITK. Too busy praising Slade over the tiny things, or taking cheap shots at Solskjaer.

Would be relatively happy if this came off. As another poster said, experienced at this level. He'd be a good alternative.

Think I'm in the majority here when I say I like hearing rumours, always interesting whether they happen or not :thumbright:

I always take rumours with a pinch of salt but I am going to have to make an exception with this one I thought Scouts were quite confidential how does that account know their scouts?

Probably get tipped off or notified. It's no different than any other poster just posting a newspaper link with a made up rumour. May be truthful, might not be.

Think city were scouting the right back James Tavernier. There was a city scout watching,Tavernier and Waghorn are a level above everyone else there.Tavernier has 8 goals and 6 assists already this season.

It seems a bit far fetched to me.

There def was a scout there, oldish guy with long grey hair, sat up in the club deck,I heard about it last week, but it's also been put up on a few rangers message boards, twitter etc. There was also a rumour that a young Falkirk midfielder Sibbald (I think) may have been the one scouted.

Used to remember under DJ we'd always go for players up in Scotland and most were all bargains who became vital to us over the years, wouldn't complain in all honesty! :ayatollah:

Seen Tavernier a few times this season. Clearly too good for the level he's at, I mean that sort of goal scoring record from a right back speaks for itself. Waghorn was ok with leicester a few years ago. I said that when Rangers signed him as he was unknown up here. As was Tavernier i suppose!
