' PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS READY TO BATTLE OVER CITY STAR '
A number of Premier League clubs for the last 6 weeks have been monitoring City player Joe Ralls.
Scouts from West Ham,Arsenal and Aston Villa have been monitoring Ralls and the talk is that a bid could be forth coming for the 21 year old,who turns 22 this Tuesday.
Cardiff City can expect at least one of these clubs to bid for Ralls this coming January.
City are very keen to hold on to their current players and Slade is known to rate Ralls very highly.
In 2012 Ralls was capped for the Under 19s England team.
For me Ralls has improved immensely and improved our team and he is the type of player we would want with us if we did get promoted
Would you sell him?
If so what would you value Ralls at?

If we have any ambitions at all, we must keep him . Simple as.

What about ambition of player? Cannot turn down. Millions for any player, no club in championship would!

Depends where we are come January, if we are in or around the play offs I'd say keep him and say we will sell him come the summer if we don't go up.
If a prem moves appears I don't think we should stop him.

Keep him, he's only going to improve. Out midfield is so much better with him, just look at our possession stats

Need to keep him!
Rambo situation happening all over again.

Yep it's called surviving and that's what we are trying to do now rather than spend and owe back

Not surprised at all, a great talent, will do well in the Premiership, lets hope it will be with us

We need to keep him for sure but if we do end up selling him then we should give O Sullivan a chance.

I posted on these boards a year ago that he was better than Gunnars and got slammed!

He's a quality player. In my opinion he should be playing in the centre of midfield ahead of Whitts. Whittingham is a good player but I think Ralls is a better player. I think our team would benefit from having 2 natural wingers with pace. The other alternative would be to go 4-5-1 with Whitts, Ralls and Dikagcoi in middle.

We can not stop a top club bringing in millions however we should if a really good offer say ok give us the money and a sell on clause plus we keep him on loan until the end of the season otherwise I hope we don't sell yet

Hard to put a figure on Ralls' worth, as right now I think we could command a couple of million for him but I believe he would be a better asset to us if he played central, if he did and is successful as I believe he can be then his value would increase massively.
Would like to hold on to Joe but if Premier League clubs offer the opportunity then it would be difficult.

Even as a bigger, he's influential from his wing play. Look at Malone's goal where he pings it to Malone.
He's not going anywhere.

Keep him, if a silly offer comes in then that's different but he hasn't done enough yet for us to get a silky offer. Very good player who will improve and eventually replace PW in the centre

His position is certainly central, totally agree.

At MK Dons in league cup he played in centre and ran the show. As soon as he was taken off we lost control of the game and ended up losing the tie.

£5m with umpteen clauses to increase and a 50% sell on clause including a cheaper buy back option if we reach the prem

Nice work by his agent.....
We do need to get him on a long term contract though...
He isn't Rambo, so it won't be a top half team, and any bottom half team could be relegated. He is our future so i doubt we'll let him go.

Crazy how it has turned. So many said he wasn't good enough at the start of the season.

Yeah he was phenomenal in that game. I would rather see him central but playing on the left does help bulk our midfield when he tucks in and I don't think whitts has the legs to play that role any more.
