The England team is like a lower prem club team,that's why they will never win anything as they have no world class players

Im not anti-English Annis but i think the reason they fail on the big stage is partly to do with their success in qualifying. They are always 1st or 2nd seeds so always end up with teams like Slovenia, Malta and San Marino in their groups. They batter these sides then the press build them up as world beaters, then they meet Germany, Italy etc. in the tournaments.
They arent being tested properly as a team.Also they dont seem to have many, if any, real top players who can change a match.

But should we complain?

They're very average.

When I say to people round here that Wales would give them a game, they laugh it off. But it's true.

Wayne Rooney is not world class. The only time they had anyone world class recently was when Gerrard and Lampard were in their prime and obviously David Beckham.

I may be biased, but I would not be surprised if we got further than England next summer.

If Wales played this England side I think we would beat them

considering the pace in the side they are slower than a tortoise getting forward! average team at best

Since euro 96 they have been below average, the pace is to slow and in the tournaments they go in to their shells as the pressure is to much. Would love to play them
