Egg riot

Fri Oct 09, 2015 8:33 am

I've no interest in the egg but heard this story from a friend this week. My friends sister lives in Twickenham and apparently England fans rioted after loosing to Australia last Saturday. Police helicopters were involved to try and control the mob. Of course there was no mention of this on the English media. Now if this was a football crowd...or a crowd from any country...

I could more or less guarantee that didnt happen at Twickers.

All the Jeffreys and Cassandra's would never in a million years be involved in fighting. Have you seen the atmosphere are their games? Even when they score it is shit.

All the real rugby fans were probably fighting in their local rugby clubs around the country :old:

Funny, I went to Wales Fiji and english fans were loudly singing for fiji, leaving when we were ahead by 10 odd points. And we get english people saying we dont respect the union by cheering the aussies

Rugby and football are both great for Cardiff. It is why we are miles ahead of the Jacks. Long may it continue.

Are you sure they were "loosing" and not "tighting"?

I think some might take issue with your miles ahead of the jacks statement :P

In terms of the cities, Cardiff is light years ahead of them.

They have the possibility of that Tidal Lagoon and think the world will come calling when it is made. Even though we'll all benefit from it.

Welsh rugby brings hundreds of thousands to the capital every year.

Places like the brewery quarter are awesome now in comparison to what they were. Packed every single weekend. Cardiff is known as one of the best nights out in Britain.

Endless restaurants as well.
