Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon has been charged with misconduct after comments he made about referee Darren Drysdale, Sky Sports has confirmed.

The former Celtic player and manager becomes the second manager to be charged by the FA this week, after Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was charged for the same reason after his rant following his side’s 3-1 defeat to Southampton.
Lennon’s Bolton side went 2-0 up away to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon, but capitulated in some style, losing the game 4-3 despite a late Wellington Silva goal to make the scores 3-3.
The 44-year-old fumed to the BBC over Drysdale’s 90 minutes in charge of the game, comments of which have lead to a fine.
He said: “I’ve never seen a more biased performance from a referee in a long time.”
“He gave QPR everything he possibly could, I was so frustrated with that.
“Any 50/50 challenges, it looked at times the free-kick was going to go to us, he invented a free-kick for QPR.
“It was a really frustrating performance from him from my point of view.
“I’m angry, I’m frustrated.
“It’s just three goals away from home you expect to get something from the game, at least a point and we’ve come away with nothing.
“With 30 seconds to go, again, I don’t understand why we’re not seeing things out.”
The three points would’ve taken the Trotters as high as 17th in the Sky Bet Championship, but they now linger in the relegation zone, in 22nd, having amassed just eight points so far this season, and leaving them winless in four.

The FA make the refs untouchable it is a disgrace.

Can't stand the bloke, was dreading it when he was linked with us last season.. Then we got Slade 
He'll be gone soon unless they drastically improve. Been in this league for a few years and their fans will expect a top half finish.
