Sean Morrison is a defender whose champions say he does the basics well. And while you could see such points as he made some important clearances late on, it’s clear to see the stand-in skipper is making too many errors.

He was guilty of some woeful defending against Charlton last week before he scored the winner and he was guilty of allowing Brighton’s players in the box far too much time.

It cost when Dale Stephens had the space to meet Kayal’s ball in without the presence of a Cardiff shirt pressurising him.

He seemed to drift out of position and suffer from lapses in concentration and, with Bruno Manga on the bench, he is running out of time to show the Gabon international should stay there. There have been suggestions Slade does not want to ideally pair Manga and Matt Connolly, but the latter’s performances have been consistently good this year – and showing up Morrison as a result.

I don't care who gets dropped; I just want Manga back

I think Morrison is Slade's preferred option to play with Manga eventually but the way Connolly is playing at the moment,it's very difficult to drop him from the starting 11. I think if Connolly has one or two bad games,he'll be dropped and Manga brought in.

Morrison had an excellent second half v Brighton. I know why people want manga in but it's easy to say after we haven't won a game. It's the same as when we scored 2 every game this season and as soon as our first blank came v hull, we needed a striker. When people like zamora come on, morrison is the man u need.
I know everyone has different opinions of course but I think everyone wants to find a problem. Things are going well and the boys are playing well. Solskjaer used to drop anyone after a bad game and it never worked. Can't have it both ways

Slade is f*cking up big time imo with his obsession over morrison. Manga needs to replace him

Connolly our best player this season. It has to be Morrison to go, but until we lose a lot it won't happen.
