' Table is starting to take shape now '

10 games in and most of the promotion favourites are near the top.
3 surprise teams in front of us, Brighton, who I thought were very good yesterday, Reading who looked excellent on tv and have bought well - they beat Boro yesterday and Birmingham.

If we are to get in the play offs these will be the teams we have to emulate.

Need a decent hail from our next 3 games as the run at the end of October looks very tough.

If we are still in the hunt come Dec 1st then I think we will stay there

I hope we don't get a decent 'hail' - people in the front rows will be very wet and uncomfortable!!

Our only chance of a play off berth is a second half of the season change of strategy. We are far too safety first. Whitts and Diki never run beyond the striker and that's obviously a tactic, we don't get caught on the break like the Oles days.

Jones, Mason, Whitts, Diki, are all slow. Pilkington is barely in the quick category and Ralls has the natural speed of a 21 year old but is not in the quick category either. All of these are technically very good at there jobs, but are all safe.

Slade's job and probable bonus is based on us not getting relegated and shredding high earners that are not producing. If i was him i would keep these tactics until we think we have enough points not to be safe, but safe enough to take the shackles off. Hopefully Saadi is half decent, Sammy can last more than 30 mins or Macheda finds some form of motivation and we can kick on.

Draw specialists need to steal 3 points a few more times if we are to end in the mix.

He's not guna change the game plan when were currently racking up a points tally that will see us in the top 6 come may.

We are averaging 1.6 points per game which would have seen us finish 9th last season.

We are doing better than I expected before the start of the season. I think we will finish between 5th to 8th.

It will be around December January that will really indicate how the season will pan out. :thumbright:
