RUGBY FANS TAKING THE PISS OUT OF OUR CLUB LITERALLY!

Fri Oct 02, 2015 4:07 pm

Had some carpets fitted today, and one of the fitters said to me that the whole of Wales will be holding their breath sat hoping the aussies beat England. Not me I replied,i'm more interested in how Cardiff City do.He then told me he went down the Charlton game with 3 mates and all of them had free hospitality through someone they knew at the club. When I told him it was a good game he said he didn't know as they were just getting as much free piss down them before the England v Wales game and they f*cking hate football. He said they even left before the end of the game,so they could get into canton before the city fans got out.Why not give it to loyal fans rather than pricks like these. :bluebird:

Thats not what hospitality is for i think. From what ive seen.

Businesses trying to suck up to each other usually. Watch a game of football while we discuss something else.

The atmosphere is shit in most hospitality boxes/seats. Id rather be with my fellow peasants.

I dont blame them really. If i was offered free booze I would take full advantage of it. Some on here probably wouldnt leave walking Id imagine.

I wouldn't particularly blame them - it's more the fault of whoever gave them the tickets and hospitality in the first place.

I have been invited many times through my job to go to rugby games at the Millenium Stadium but have declined on the basis that I don't like rugby and that it would be better for the ticket and hospitality to go to someone who at least has a passing interest in the game (i.e. almost ALL fans of the Welsh team  )

I would find it very hard to be at a rugby game even enjoying free food and grub, when I really couldn't give a shit about what was happening on the pitch.

I agree. Went to a City game in the promotion season with hospitality and hated almost every minute of it. The food and drink was ok but it was obvious that most people there had no clue what was going on. The people sat in front of me were talking about the "United" game the previous weekend, and the people behind spent most of the first half discussing which school to send their kid to.

I was sat quite close to Vincent Tan also and his heavy mob were keeping a very close eye on my blue scarf!

Not for me I'm afraid, even at the football!
