Ok, so Fabio was man of the match again on Saturday. Full MOTM standings at the bottom of this thread.

To start a little bit more discussion on here, there will be a theme connecting to the MOTM vote every now and then. Starting with this.

As Fabio has had a very good start to the season, I have two questions for everybody:

- Who has been your favourite full back for us from 2012 to now? (both sides)

- Who is your favourite full back (both sides) throughout the whole time you've been watching Cardiff City? If the same player, select an alternative.

The top three in the each question will go into a poll. We will do this over the season with every position and by the end we will have this forum's favourite team ever.

For me the best in recent years has to be Fabio. Maybe that's going from very recent memories but I admire him. Right back would be Brayford.

Overall? Right back Kevin McNaughton and left back Chris Gunter.

tweaking the thread topic slightly, but, I'm picking the best City XI I have witnessed as a 33 year old, playing 4-3-3 Barcelona tactics

favourite full back, judging only on ability it's Fabio. Gunter is a better defender imo, so it's a tough call

Excitement = Fab
Consistency = Gunter
Legendary = McNaughton

Andrew Taylor by far the most consistent wing back.

Fabio is playing well, but that's 4-5 games, for me Taylor was a rock in our promotion season.
