any electrians to fit lights in house

I fitted lights in house and my electric have gone poof. I have gone liv to live with 3 live cable and the same with negative but dont work now its tripped my electric. I removed lights but i cant get any elecric atall turned the trip switches back on but nothing can any1 help?

It sounds like you have a black switch wire which is live mixed up with the negatives part the wires then retry the trip

Switch all the individual breakers off. Then reset the main earth leakage breaker. When that is in turn the individual breakers on until it trips, that is the circuit that's causing you the problem. Turn it off again and then reset the earth leakage trip and all the breakers except the problematic one. At least you'll have electricity. Let me know if that works...

The lights are all disconnected and ive separated the wores ive reset like you said all breakers are on but no electric

on lights you have a permanent live and a switched live. You have clearly just joined the lot together !
Common fault by people who dont know what their doing. You will need a electrician in to sort out your switched lived from your unswitched :thumbright:

It means as soon as your putting your light switch on (it maybe on now) then you get a direct short which will blow your electric.
You need to seperate all your red wires on each light fitting now.
Yes im an electrician but currently working a nightshift.

Yes u are right. A friwnd just came over and pointed it out. I joined the switch live with the other lives all sorted now and best of all hes told me what to do get one of those electric indentifying pen tomorrow and next time il be able to do it. Thanks all for your help very much appreciated
