Yes, with a bit of tweaking to the squad.

If they beat Brighton, I would be very optomistic

Yes... but only with VT dipping into his pockets for a couple of players.

Yes but we need 2 class players ..... a midfielder to unlock defences and a fast , clinical striker to bang in 15 - 20 goals !

Yes,

but only if the fans unite and support the manager and the players, making CCS a place that teams dread to visit.

Even if they were quality 'loan' signings  :ayatollah:

I think Hull,Burnley,Derby, and Boro will eventually be the top 4,therefore leaving a couple of play off spaces available, there are numerous sides who are capable of challenging for these and I would like to think we are in that group.

Il stick with my original view and say we will just miss out on the play offs in 7th/8th. But that opinion could change come Christmas and I hope so! Fans would soon come back if we're right in amongst it!

Sticking with my original post too, top 6 finish, if we get a fresh player in, in January, we could be in the top two. Promotion yes.

If you were a self made Billionaire would you accept owning an average Club with average Directors, average Manager, average Players, playing average Football against 23 other average Teams for the rest of time!!

If the current setup delivers promotion and like many on here I still doubt it, but will be overjoyed to be proved wrong, in the New Year if we are there or thereabouts I say:

GO TAN GO (and that can be taken 2 ways!!)

If we get a clinical finisher then yes! Also Slade needs to learn from tactical mistakes against teams such as Hull to push the team further. Play off for me :bluescarf:

That's as good as we are. We are not as good as Hull, we'll win more than we lose, but 10th ~6th was more pre season prediction and we are on course for that.

It reminds me of Malky's first season - a good team who all buy into the work ethic and now how the manager wants to play. I suspect that Hull and Burnley may be the 2 to go up automatically, but we are one of around 8 teams capable of getting into the 4 playoff places.

I know we lost to Hull but I didn't think they were anything special and we'll do them in the return fixture. It would be very sad if they turnout to be one of the best 2 in this seasons Championship.

The squad we have could do the job of getting promoted if they learnt to put the ball in the back of the net and they would have more chance of doing that if the wide players/full-backs could put better crosses into the box.

Don't think that's far out, if we are even in contention its progress from the shambolic state we were in, were 5th playing in 3rd gear but we def need some pace and a decent striker to take it to the next level

We've had a reasonable start. Lost but played very well against Hull (top 6 team). But lost against Rotherham (relegation battling team). Cardiff frustrate me so much due to the lack of consistency!

Much better football though, I'm gonna say 7th but of course I'd love to make the play offs! :thumbright:

The championship is inconsistent, Malky side has great bounce back ability and it was pleasing to see the boys bounce back Sat

Can we yes

Will we, I don't think so.

Usually judge after 10 games but as we are on 9 games with an away fixture against the top teams I'll stick my neck out.

I feel we will scrape into the top 6. If this new striker comes good then it will be a comfortable top 6 and with a bit of luck perhaps top 2.

For me now if we are mid table come Christmas and remain there that will be a disappointing season although I would have taken that at the start.

I can't see why not in finishing top 2 this yeat if not definitely a top 6 side atm! The players are much fitter and more solid than ever, we have the best squad in the Championship, best goalie, best defence, but we are short from a striker though! We are actually playing good football also! Plus the other championship clubs other than Hull,Derby and Middlesbrough are all bang average this year! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
