Now back Russell Slade with the money to get the striker and midfield player he wants so badly?

Slade has stated he needs these two type of players.
We spoke to Ken Choo and asked him a couple of weeks ago and his answer was that Slade has enough players in those positions.

We are 5th now after 9 games,higher than I ever thought we would be under Slade

Slade has done most of the dirty work and sold player after player over the last year and reduced the wage bill by £millions.

What's your opinion?

Should Slade now be given the money to bring these type of players in?

Or don't you think we need them?

It seems to me there are quite a few clubs out there looking for that striker. If one is out there then he is going to cost a bit. Will Tan pay for him......no.

Ian, Apperently Slade had his midfield player he wanted lined up.

As to the striker,your right same old story,everyone is always looking for a good one.

We are trying to cut costs. Quicker we do that quicker we might get a new owner.

I think this league this season is so poor we probably won't need one for a top 6 finish .
If we are aiming at top two then we need a goalscorer , we possibly had the perfect player in javi guerra but it didn't work out for unknown reasons . A premier league fringe striker is probably the best we can hope for on loan .

Our midfield is fine I wouldn't tinker with it at all at The moment .

I don't think this league is poor this season you only have to look at the likes of derby, boro, hull , burnley and others also I think Bristol city will be there or there abouts at the end of the season.
Midfield looks very strong to me we still got gunnar on the bench but agree a pacey striker could be the difference at the end of the season.

Douglas John Fox Definately a new striker needed, mason has done ok, but I dont think he is up to putting in a full shift all season long, and will not get a load of goals throughout the season.

Ken Choo is right there are enough players in the squad and just bringing in more personal as a quick fix is not the answer. We should put our faith in what we have and work harder in training to improve our crossing and finishing in particular.

That way we give confidence to our squad that they are good enough and will get the chance to prove it rather than the speculation which under minds them.

Thomas, I believe our squad alone is top 6 for this division and there is strength in depths

We are seriously lacking in pace. Look at the team's who were promoted last year...all three had that and could play on the break as a result. Apart from Ameobi, we simply don't possess that vital factor.

No we don't, we got enough players who are more than capable of doing well for City and getting us promoted but Slade needs to f*cking be more assertive on the pitch. We don't need to go spending anymore money until we are out of debt.
