The Police were so bored today

The Police were so bored today
At about 2.30pm they went in the Sand Martin Pub with their cameras etc incl Cgarlton spotters and all that was in there was about 20 people left incl a Charlton family
Staff were shocked

In the ground they continually videod a group of young Charlton fans who were singing for virtually 90 mins of the game

For me these games should be Police free

Anni's they regularly film people on sloper rd at entrance to away fans entrance! Never understand why as people are just walking past it to get to ground? Little brother springs to mind! :laughing6:

Too much overtime with fuck-all else to do springs to my mind. All paid for by Mr & Mrs T. Axpayer. And don't get me started on their unsustainable pensions.

I was leaving the sand martin just as they walked in. They walked straight to the bar had a 2 minute chat and walked straight back out. I assumed they were ensuring the sand martin were adhering to the license agreement of no drinking without food.

Well if that's all they were doing that I suppose it's not a bad thing! We don't want any trouble from away fans or our own fans (that can stay in the past).

They need to justify blowing huge amounts of cash on the police bill don't they. I mean, if they don't keep making the stadium oppressive and dull 1000's of old hoolies will come flooding back to reign chaos once again......

The Sandpiper visit seems well over the top but it was a good job they were about on Sloper Rd after the game to clamp down on the behaviour of a few half wits that threatened to escalate into something more serious.
