If we only had a striker who scored regularly.

Thought he run the channel well today and also linked up well. His first touch is usually spot on and takes him away from his man.
Hope it wasn't a dive today

He's a top player at this level.
He would get 20 goals if he played all season.

I put a bet on Mason to be Championship top goal scorer 40/1,but for me he misses too many good chances!!

I did the same but I highly doubt it will come in I agree with you he misses way to many chances for a striker

I like Mason but he wastes too many chances and is caught offside way too many times .
He still has a lot to learn regarding timing his runs and getting into scoring positions . He could have and should have had a hat-trick against Charlton .
A very good championship striker but not one who can score the goals to get a side promoted IMO

The Jones / Mason partnership isn't clicking. I'll never believe Jones is a 442 striker but if slade continues with him in this role i don't think Mason is the better foil.
If Jones is looking for flick-ons then he we are playing into Mason biggest weakness his lack of pace, he knows it, so has to be on the edge all the time as he can't burn any but old plodders to the goal.
I get what Slade see's in him, he is a 10, a maker who can take chances, and yesterdays goal showed what he is about pouncing on a loose ball. Ameobi and mason may work, but i just don't see Sammy leading the line.
He will continue to frustrate as we are playing into his weakness as the guy who drives beyond Jones

We got promoted and won title with a striker top goalscorer who got 8.
Adam le Fondre has taken teams up missing a lot more than Joe does. Get behind him.

Missed about 4-5 one on ones this season already, and every goal he's scored could've been scored by anyone else on the pitch. He offers us absolutely nothing.
