Going into this game I thought Charlton could be a tricky opposition today, especially after last weeks shambles in Yorkshire. Charlton will not come near the top six in my opinion, but once they went ahead I thought we would have trouble clawing it back.
However, fair play to City, they played some very nice stuff today with plenty of width and creativity. Mason ran himself into the ground and deservedly got a poachers goal, although he dived for the penalty in my opinion.
Whitts bossed the game from midfield and got another assist, the top assist maker in the league now.
Morrison is really developing for me. Very composed on the ball and nips in with his fair share of goals. Fabio solid as ever, our best player so far this season by miles.
The big test comes next week against Brighton. If we get something over there then I think it's time everyone cut Slade some slack.
