It looked like a dive to me, he must have thought he wasn't guna make his touch.

He found a few channels today but couldn't finish...

Didn't he score today though?

He did score but that's his job, we had 60% possession and 20 shots.

I just can't see any chemistry between him and Jones, although we look a better team without Jones, which is a bit weird because i think Jones is our best forward

Was it a dive?

I wasn't there see, I have no idea how the game went. Just the score.

I sit in the family straight behind and he didn't look confident and looked for contact. If that was an Earnie, Chops,or Dale they'd have buried it.

With Jones he is looking to get onto flick ons without the pace to buy him a moment to think. His goal showed what he is all about finding space in the box, and clever link up play. Probably him a Sammy may be a partnership or Jones and Sammy.

I was there and it looked like a penalty to me(havent seen tv replay)and red card.If he has dived he needs a bollocking cos he should have scored!!!

That's what I thought but I'm sat in the canton. Didn't see any reason for him to go down

When they showed the replay at half time,it looked like the goalkeeper made enough contact for a penalty. That would meant the ref would give a red and penalty which I don't think he was up to. I thought we should have had a pen in the second half for handball which was clear cut.

Definitely hand ball. I'm sat in 108 and it was right in front of us

Penalty and a sending off the linesman flagged and then bottled it ...haven't seen a replay though but on seeing it I thought penalty straight away

I'm in 108 aswell, can't explain why either the ref or linesman didn't give it.

Just read the report of the game on the BBC News website and they said Mason miskicked the ball, there was no mention of a possible penalty or his yellow card.

We are in the Grange and saw the incident perfectly. Mason had beaten the keeper and the keeper made clear contact when Mason was about to strike. As he had beaten the GK, there was no reason for him to dive.
Regarding the game, we could have been 2-0 up in the first 15 mins and for me the issue is now the lack of tempo in the final 3rd and we still need a ruthless clinical striker to finish the opportunities that we are now making. A good win though, especially coming from behind but some tough games coming up.
