Who is head of marketing?

Sat Sep 26, 2015 8:59 am

Stating the obvious but it really is that simple, most young Cardiff fans have the Cardiff city app. You get updates on team line ups and it's being streamed. I haven't had one update saying u 16s are ten pound, it really is shambolic when you think about it! It's free advertising or little cost, they should be spreading the word to the thousands on the database via social media email and any other form. Not relying on fans to post it. Baffling. Rant over :bluebird:

Commercially we are a mess and have never made the step up from NP....

It never ceases to amaze me just how bad this side of the business is.

Correct.
Wez and a few others came on here time and time again saying this club has become more professional etc, but in fact we've gone backwards.

There was No plan B if we got relegated from Premier Club.

And guess what this week the club had a meeting and admitted they should if looked after the the loyal fans more than they did the new fans, a bit to late

In line with the thread re £1 admission for children, the club should doing more to market to the younger supporter. Didn't the Jacks a few years back give out free tickets to school kids in the valleys? Why not introduce a combined rail/match ticket for those travelling from the Valleys/West Wales/Vale of Glamorgan with a discounted rate and even free rail travel for children? That would save supporters money and entice a few who want to come but cant afford the match day.

Am getting fed up of seeing Jack shirts worn by the younger generation around Cardiff at the football schools they are running here, all part of the Jack marketing strategy, which it has to be admitted, is leagues above that of a supposed successful business man! :bluescarf:

If you think we have it bad trying being a Cewnty fan! Feck em :bluebird:
