Wayne Nash and his 20k

Fri Sep 25, 2015 9:09 am

The blokes an idiot when are the club going to wise up to his bullshit spin? There are many reasons regarding the poor atmosphere and low crowds, but the current setup in the stadium is the main reason, Wayne Nash was involved in this design/setup of the stadium, he knows its wrong but he's to pig headed to admit it!! he's happy to look after the away fans and keep the family stand happy while taking the plaudits for being family club of the year while he doesn't give a toss about the atmosphere in the stadium, he knows the answer is to swap the family and canton stands and his excuse? "a £20,000 weekly police bill" now maths ain't my strong point but at the current Canton prices we would need to attract just under 700 extra match day fans to cover that? Surely its worth a trial? There's been a lot of changes at the club over the years and in my opinion we need another with the stadium manager being replaced, he is partly responsible for our match day experience and the fact we're having all these meetings and discussions tells me that supporters ain't happy with their day out, if he can not manage the dynamics of housing a singing section next to the away end like the majority of other clubs around the country do, then get someone else in who can. :old: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Agree 100 per cent, Nash needs to go. Should trial it.
Would love to see a safe standing terrace trialed at our ground too like they do in Germany.

He used to cut the grass at Ninian park! now the power of his Cardiff city stadium manager job and links with FAW have gone to his head, doesn't care for the fans anymore and more concerned about getting us to sit down.

Sorry mate but I disagree I take my kids to the family stand but am far from happy, would rather be the opposite end of the ground with my young kids especially when we play the likes of Millwall!

You make a good point there and the club need to be reminded they have a 'duty of care' to their fans; particularly the most vulnerable, i.e. the youngsters who might be affected by the likes of those east London loons!

But if the ends are swapped Sven then it wouldn't affect the new family stand so to speak. Nash is part of the prawn cocktail brigade only this season Vince has come out of his shell so hopefully Nash will to.

I think we are in agreement. I was saying that the ends SHOULD be swapped!

Spot on 100%. The stadium has up to date CCTV that covers every god damn inch so the extra Police bill in my mind is bollocks.
