Brighton V Cardiff – Two friends for a tenner
Cardiff tickets
Brighton Fanzone
23/09/15
Has Paul Barber completely lost his mind?
Brighton and Hove Albion are hardly known for their sensible pricing policy when it comes to, well, anything but especially matchday tickets. Yet here we are offering season ticket holders the chance to bring two friends for £10 each to the Cardiff game on Saturday October 3rd.
This isn’t just sensible pricing – this is bargain pricing. It would have been last year when the team couldn’t score a goal for love nor money, let alone when they currently top the table, are unbeaten at home and games at The Amex so far have been genuinely enjoyable for the whole 90 minutes.
It’s a great decision all round. Despite the blistering start we still aren’t getting close to packing out The Amex no matter what the official match attendance tries to tell you when announced. That is hardly surprising given the cheapest tickets are £25 adults and for a “category A” game you can expect to shell out up to £42.
But at £10 a ticket there is a real chance we could have a crowd approaching a full house for the first time in well over a year. These new customers will hopefully spend money on food and drink and who knows, if Chris Hughton and the team do the business on the pitch they might even enjoy it so much they decide to pay full whack next time.
We’d encourage all season ticket holders to get behind the offer and get two friends along. The seats are only availabe in the south west and north west corners and of course there is the obligatory booking charge of £1.50 but it would be churlish to complain about such things with such a good deal.
You’ve got until this Friday to snap things up. Make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity before the club regain their minds.

They can afford to do that because they're charging us £30 to get in!
