Cardiff City have launched an appeal over David Marshall's controversial red-card at Rotherham on Saturday.
The Bluebirds captain was dismissed for kicking out at Millers striker Matt Derbyshire after the former Blackburn man had pulled on his shirt as he tried to clear the ball.
In the aftermath of the incident, the Scotland international was widely criticised but manager Russell Slade insisted no penalty should have been awarded against his team.
He said: “I’ve watched the incident on video and it clearly should have been a Cardiff free-kick because their player pulled Marshall.”
Slade also revealed that Marshall apologised to his teammates in the dressing room at the New York Stadium.

Off the ball incidents which are not seen at the time by the match officials are referred to a panel of three former elite referees," said an FA statement.
"Each referee panel member will review the video footage independently of one another to determine whether they consider it a sending-off offence.
"For retrospective action to be taken, and an FA charge to follow, the decision by the panel must be unanimous."

Can't argue about getting sent off and Slade knows that! Its the whole incident that's reason behind the appeal?

Of course we should appeal. Never a sending off imo.
