Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans thought that his Millers team deserved the win against Cardiff on Saturday at the New York Stadium and, in fact, deserved to win more than the two-one score line.

The Millers Boss also said that Referee Keith Hill got both penalties in the game spot-on.

But Bluebirds Manager Russell Slade disagrees saying that he believes his goalkeeper was fouled first.

'I think it`s a free-kick to us in the first place because he (Matt Derbyshire) pulled on David Marshall and prevented him playing the ball early,` the Cardiff Boss told Cardiff City Player. 'But David shouldn`t lash out and the referee had no choice but to send him off. But it`s not a penalty.

'We know it`s always difficult here. Rotherham rush you and put you under pressure and we struggled at times in the first twenty minutes but I thought we were just getting into the game when the sending-off came.

'They went one-nil up but I was pleased with our immediate response that got us back into the game.

'I don`t think it was a classic game but losing your goalkeeper and going down to ten men changes things.`
