Crikey, after the crucifixion Marshall received from some city fans on Saturday I was expecting to see him launching a massive boot into Matt Derbyshire leaving the player poleaxed in agony.
What I saw was a foul on Marshall and an incredibly innocuous flick against Derbyshire.
How any official can see that as a penalty and sending off is beyond me.
Saying that - we have a tremendous squad and Slade is just not getting anywhere near the best out of them. Rotherham battered us before the sending off and again afterwards.
Slade... wake you... you have a Mercedes but driving it like you would a Morris Minor!

Spot on assessment of the situation.
Never a penalty.
Free kick to Cardiff and booking for the Rotherham player. Could have been a booking for Marshall ?

Yellow Card for reacting to Marsall..
Yellow card for other lad for inciting incident..
Officials are there to defuse situations but often they do the polar opposite
