In my opinion, he deserves better but I can understand why some have been livid.
My question is WHY does such a stalwart of the club suddenly become unstable (I said this was out of character but was corrected and probably justifiably).
I have heard that Tan Blocked him moving to a PL side. It was rumoured at the time but not confirmed as far as I know.
Is that why he is frustrated??
If that's the case, you can say goodbye to the Marshall of old. It isn't fair or wise to stop a player progressing after due service.

Only now seen sending off, yes Marshall was a man possessed!! Not!! Not even a yellow card, common sense get on with game. Ridiculous
Suppose he was unstable end of season that's why he grabbed opposition by throat and got sent off?
And we all know wba were being scurrilous by trying to get Marshall on cheap! No one thought 4.5m was anywhere near enough for him, and Marshall himself said was happy at city? Suppose only a matter of time before tan was blamed?
