Just spent an hour replying and pressed post and I wasn't logged in and lost what I had written. I'll have to do it again

North Laines is your best bet. It has everything you'll need, bars, restaurants and shops and you've got nice bars on the seafront which are great but try and avoid West street in the evenings if you can but then again you might like it so feel free to try it but it's not for me.

There's tons of great pubs in the Laines to choose from so you and your friends will have to wander around and find which is to your liking but you'll not be disappointed.

The Sussex.

Drank here many of times.

The Cricketers.

Another good pub.

The Pump House.

This is the infamous pub where Leeds and Brighton had their furniture brawl. Modern windows now as the 120 year old windows and frames were destroyed. It's a good pub in the evenings and drank here the offer year with Birmingham lads and was a great evening. The 'P' is missing that's because it fell off and Brighton lads swiped it and put it into storage for future throwing parties.

Clothes shops are top notch if it's your thing.

Profile is were I used to buy my clothes and it has everything you can think of, Boss, Stone Island, Gucci, Navy attic, Armani etc. Opposite you have Paul Smith and other designer shops.

Worth checking the seafront for bars as they have some really good ones and are open in the afternoons and late into the evenings and you'll find the best clubs Brighton has to offer but they're dwindling fast as culture is changing with the times. The Zap club has now closed which was the top club in Brighton and was voted top club in the UK and Europe back in the 80's and 90's and had a 10 year waiting list at one point for membership. I used to be on the guest list so wasn't a problem for me.

On the seafront under the arches.

That was just a quick guide. Playing us on the 3rd of October so should be nice and warm hopefully, so should be packed. Brighton pier has a nice bar and restaurant and has an outside seating area facing the sea and Brighton.

Hope you enjoy your stay in Brighton and have a good time. We like to be good guests to our visiters.

Forgot to add that the drinks are London prices. Some places are £5 a pint and pub I went into the other week charged £5.50. Thought I'd pre-warn you so it's not much of a shock when they ask.

Staying in Horsham, nice Thai meal booked at the Giggling squid, after a couple of pints in town and three points collected at the Amex.
