This Must Stop

Whitts taking every corner kick and free kick. We had well over double figure corners against Hull and numerous attacking free kicks in what would have been a decent goal scoring opportunity to most teams, but not the city.
High floating balls into the box seem to be our only tactic. The odd ball delivered with pace or even a shot at goal would mix it up. Some excellent quick passing and build up play against Hull but when it came to that killer pass or shot at goal we were shocking. Scotland's number 2/a sh*t DM was never tested and he spent most of the game collecting the ball to take goal kicks (slowly). After a loss from a pretty poor Hull team is it time for change???. Next game rest Whittingham, Pilkington, Morrison, Mason play Gunner, Noone, Manga, Ameobe

I haven't got an issue with him taking all the corners as on his day his delivery is superb but there wasn't a lot of variation on Tuesday it was all to the back post to a fairly stagnant set of jumpers. We were unlucky first half as nearly all the corners went the wrong side meaning they were outswingers. There can definitely be an improvement in an area where we have done well in the past.

Massive whitts fan but his free kicks have been poor so long long. I dint understand how they have got so much worse usually players use their pace but can still do the things like free kicks

Whittingham's last free kick scored was against Blackpool in 2012/2013

"Pretty poor Hull team" - really??
They were superb defensively and played the counter-attacking game very well. 2 goals from 3 clear chances put us to the sword.
People are saying that we didn't have enough to break them down; true but they were the most solid defensive until I've seen in the Championship for some time.
