HOW THE HELL DID WE LOSE THAT?

Absolutely shocked tonight that we have lost. City dominated most of the game, and should have had up to four penalties but for one of the worst referees I've seen.

Very unlucky tonight and I can't criticise the team or Slade.

2nd goal looked offside from the Ninian Stand?

We move on how to Rotherham away on Saturday, need to get back to winning ways.

Think he was just on side, I shouted at the time that no one was marking him and he just run past our defenders who didn't see him, well played though guys you deserved something from that game :ayatollah:

You can scratch you're head all you like, and ask how did we lose, then ask yourself another question, like how many times did we make their goalkeeper make a save?..Slade has had 3 transfer windows to rectify our continuing problem of no pace in the side, and failed miserably

Sadly can't argue with this, lack of pace and finishing up front will cost us this season.

We had lots of possession but I'm struggling to remember Mcgregor having to make a save.
Mason is not the answer to our striking problem , he isn't strong enough lacks pace gets bullied off the ball way to easily for me , I don't tthink he's good nough for this division personally ,

Our midfield was strong, we had 63% of the possession but just unlucky we couldn't get it in the net.

Played superb tonight :ayatollah:
Enjoyed tonight and I felt we were robbed by the Ref.

Ned, Ive had a good think, we really did lack in front of goal?

Annis, I've been thinking that too. Like Carl says in his post, how many clear cut chances did we really create tonight?

I still don't rate Mason as the striker to score us goals. Kenwyne will score goals but he did a lot of work in midfield and out wide tonight. Even though he did well, I'd prefer Mason out of the two to do that sort of work.

we dominated possession and territory, but we didnt actually carve out any chances. hull on the other hand did nothing other than score two goals on the break.

Quite simple really. No pace wide to get in behind their full backs and pull their three big centre backs away from the box. continually playing balls into the box was just what they wanted with the way they set up. We need to adapt our game plan. Hats off for effort tho. We r playing as a team for each other and the shirt now. 3pts at Rotherham Sat. Bluebirds :thumbright:

If we were going to lose a match then I'm content losing the way we did. Certainly played the better game against a team that has just come down from the Premier League. Despite the loss, it was a good performance from the Bluebirds which is why I remain optimistic this season. :ayatollah:

Although people say Mason isn't clinical enough, his movement is fantastic at times. He failed to score last night but his overall understanding of the game is very good. He will get more goals and assists in due time. :thumbright:

Still early days but if we can perform to that level vs Hull, consistently, week in, week out, then I'm positive we're in for a good season.

I think last night showed the difference in managerial experience. Am not having a go at Slade but Bruce is a very experienced manager at Premiership level and that showed in his tactics. Am gutted we lost though hopefully Slade learnt from last night and will get the team back to winning ways against Rotherham. :bluescarf:
