" MINUTE'S APPLAUSE TONIGHT "

Tue Sep 15, 2015 10:39 am

@CardiffCityFC A minute’s applause will be held ahead of this evening’s game with @HullCity in memory of 5 year-old Joe Smith. More to follow.

This is the little boy involved in the collision on Western Avenue? :?

A sad sad occurrence and a touching gesture from the club and its supporters

I totally agree it's bloody awful and tragic. Just wondered what his connection was with Cardiff City. Personally I feel only those with a connection to Cardiiff City should be afforded a minutes applause. We have had City fans dying who have supported us for years and years but they haven't had a minutes applause.

Terrible things happy everyday, are we setting a precedent?

Me condolences obviously to the young lass family and friends RIP.

he perhaps phrased it a little insensitively, but its a valid point. who decides who gets a minute silence and who doesnt? we have these so often it kind of cheapens it. in my opinion minutes silences should be reserved for former managers and players of CCFC, and in special circumstances, figures like simon insole.

of course its a tragedy and RIP to the little fella, though.
