If you had a bet on Joe Mason to score the first Cardiff goal here, you’d be cursing the bloke on the tannoy at the Cardiff City Stadium.

He confidently credited the goal to the striker when Anthony Pilkington had actually swept it home.

Then there was some problems with the substitutes too.

‘Half-time Wayne’ is great at half-time, an effervescent ball of inclusive fun, but behind the mic here he was having a mare in truth.


The reading out of the teams too by another member of staff was barely adequate.

It’s not really the kind of thing you can just give people a go at really is it?

No wonder fans were calling for former announcer Ali Yassine after the series of errors.

Now that's resolved, hopefully the announcers improve as the team has done!

HTW was having a mare which is odd, you'd think he'd be at least semi competent at it. Wasn't ever a big fan of Ali though, glad someone new is doing it.
