There were boos when Ameobi went on for Kenwyne Jones. What are your thoughts on that?

Kenwyne had done his job, but we needed to change the dynamics. Sammy brings something different to the table.
There were boos, but whether some fans thought I should have taken Joe Mason off I don’t know.

I was astonished that Slade substituted Jones! I joined in the booing I thought it was a terrible decision. How much do I know? It was inspired substitution, Ameobi changed the game!

The boos were for taking Kenwyne Jones off, I disagreed with Slades decision.
I was for bringing Sammy on though, but not for Kenwyne, maybe midfield?

I know he scored but i would have taken mason off.
Gets into some amazing positions but im still not convinced... hes certainly not this natural goal scorer people are making him out to be

I would have taken Mason off instead of Jones but I'd have also taken Pilkington off and brought Noone on but what do I know. As my 14 year old son said yesterday, that's why I'll never make it as a PE teacher.

That was my first instinct to take Mason off,it looks like Slade proved us wrong

Kenwynne missed a sitter one on one no wonder. Good in the air but cant wait for saadi to get fit then we will see a real striker imo

I thought miss aside, Jones had a decent game. I would have taken Mason off personally

We all disagreed with it and the obvious was mason! As for booing never done it never agree with it, it's shocking if am honest and shows no respect for our manager who has taken us to second in the table.

I heard some hardly anything to blow up into a huge thing
You get boos if someone doesn't like something
I thought at the time it was because Jones was going off , I thought someone else should of went off as all we had was booting it up to him in the first place
Turns out when he went off we tried playing football because we had no one to hit it up to

Agree! Although he is getting the results, Mason lacks in pace - his little legs were going around like a helicopter

I gotto be honest Mason was looking slugglish, would have been good to see Kenwyn and Ameobi together.

You can be so thick sometimes Ole.
In the Ninian there were boos with some people complaining & shouting that it should have been Mason going off.
Mountain out of a molehill for me.

The result spoke volumes after the change Slade made!
