Cardiff population close to 400,000; season ticket holders from Cardiff approx 5000 out of the 10000. Burnley population 70.000 crowd today 17000 ? Supportyourlocalteam
Hull City Tuesday night if you get your ticket tomorrow you can save yourself a few quid depending where you are sitting it ranges from 19 pound to 28 pound zone 1. can't promise you flowing champagne football but I can promise you passion commitment effort from the players. had a good start to the season this is a tough game why not come down and give it a go

I would like to think we could hit 15k on Tuesday, if not, at least we know the loyal fans will be there.

Couldn't be there on Saturday because of work. But will be there on Tuesday, even going to pull an all nighter as I can't afford a hotel
The loyal fans will be there for a while, and we'll only get more if we stay in the top ten for a couple of months.

The prices are much more sensible this season. I went to Burton v Rochdale yesterday and paid £19 for me and a fiver for my boy. It was dire. The best thing about it was that all the fans loved their clubs.
To me the way forward is to use upper ninian stand as free tickets for kids with discount vouchers for subsequent games.

I'll be there, driving from Oxford after work and back to swindon after the game. I wish there was a train just one hour later!!

We have all heard the excuses why people not going(rebrand, tan, prices, dire football, matchday experience etc), but slowly and surely them excuses are being eradicated.I know there are still issues down The City but the club is going in the right direction.
Imagine if we are still in the top 2 come January, watch them half season tickets start to fly off the shelf.

I had this conversation with Vince and he his so right in what he says - Football in S.Wales is massive-clubs parks schools AstroTurf - but when it comes to supporting your local team it seems only a successful bluebirds can attract higher attendances - Cardiff City is now and has been a family club for several seasons - On watching the last two welsh international matches at CCS the stadium as been rocking and that would be fantastic if this could be transferred to the bluebirds home game - Support the boys and make some noise !

We,ll always be blue !

I've been saying this for a while ^^^^. The Club have been piss poor in tapping into the Cardiff population. Much more could be done.

As said before, most will only follow a successful football club. When City was in the old div 3/4 most kids followed the big 5 clubs and then passed this on to their kids
Until we have proper success for a few years, we won't pull in the average football fan and then we have to stay successful.
Plus, it is true, a lot of fans have stopped going because the atmosphere is shit and all the farce that has been going on.
Will they come back ? Maybe maybe not, but City need to look after their fans and promote themselves better

Ask a mate to go with you, if we all did that we would double the attendance, I have two coming with me Tuesday who were not there Saturday, every little helps. Good thread and I know Vince has a few ideas that the club and CCSC are happy to support and fund if necessary( Flags etc)
