Wow

Future world champion . Nobody in boxing currently will handle that speed and power .

14 fights 14 knockouts

He will rule that division for a years .

He looks like a young Tyson just a lot bigger

I agree and that is when he can be fully judged

There is no one out there to hit him though. The boy could be the best ever but he's in the wrong era. It's a shame.

Joshua is incredibly talented and I reckon he'll go far but he needs to start fighting better boxers. He is good enough to be putting better boxers away already. He needs to be tested more rather than allowed to get comfortable at a certain standard of boxing.

Got a bit of a knock back from some last night when I went down the same track but in a different direction.

As far as I was concerned last night was a total mismatch. Yes the guy matched AJ for height, weight and was undefeated. After that everything else was on the opposite sides of the stick. This is reminding me of Frank Bruno and we know what happened to him when they put him up against the Americans who were the guys to beat then.

Bruno had power but nowhere near the speed AJ does. He's an animal.

Unanswered question. To be fair most heavyweights have a weak chin when it's hit by another heavyweight.

What really bugged me about last night was his approach to the ring. He was smiling up to the entrance as if he knew this Scot was no match for him. All the signs of a mismatch ensuring the big fight with Whyte was going ahead.

Saying that I do think AJ will knock out Whyte just as easy. Put him up against Fury for a true Battle of Britain.

Nowt wrong with confidence. I think AJ will fight Fury if Fury somehow beats Klitschko

Deyontay wilder will be a perfect test.

Its a shame he will never fight klitschko as i think he would beat him

Could be a good fight, think AJ is a lot better boxer than Wilder from what I've seen of them both though.

Those that compare him to Tyson should go look at some early Tyson footage and then have a lie down in a dark room.

he might not come across as scary or brutal as tyson, but there isnt too much difference in their records so far.

tysons 14th fight, 1 first round KO against someone called sammy scaff (13-6 record) where as at least AJ fought someone with a decent unbeaten record

No I don't, not for one second. I rate Joshua and am a fan. I dont hold the view of many hardcore boxing fans like myself that he is just a hype job, I think he will do great. But at present he is many levels behind Klitchko, and I reckon he'd agree

Re: Anthony Joshua

I see absolutely no reason to believe he wouldnt have beaten him in a few years time personally.

Obviously i didnt mean right now

This is how Sky and Eddie Hearn will get away with putting all of his fights on PPV from now on, sky can sell anything to the casual fan tbf

Paula, records mean nothing. He ment in fighting style, there are nothing alike.
